Industrial Linguistics Store
Purchase and refund terms.
These terms apply to purchases from the Industrial Linguistics Store. Product-specific licence terms form part of these terms where the catalogue links to them.
Effective: 27 July 2026
1. Seller and acceptance
The seller is IFOST Pty Ltd (ABN 40 628 328 307), trading as Industrial Linguistics, of 10 Cassia Grove, Beecroft NSW 2119, Australia. By placing an order, you confirm that you have authority to make the purchase and accept these terms. If you are under 18, you must have the authority of your organisation, parent or guardian where the law requires it.
2. Products and licences
Hosted courses and games identified as free remain available under the terms shown on their sites. Payment in this store is for the physical product, downloadable package or other delivery format described in the catalogue. Buying a digital product does not transfer ownership of its intellectual property. SCORM products are also governed by the SCORM organisation licence.
3. Prices, taxes and payment
Prices are in Australian dollars unless the checkout says otherwise. The catalogue or checkout identifies applicable GST, sales tax, shipping and other charges before you confirm payment. International buyers are responsible for import duties, customs charges and local taxes not collected by Stripe.
Stripe processes payment and collects payment and billing information under its own terms and privacy practices. An order is accepted only when Stripe confirms payment and we issue an order confirmation. We may correct an obvious pricing error before fulfilment, but you may cancel for a full refund rather than accept the corrected price.
4. Physical products
Printed products are produced and fulfilled manually. We normally hand an order to the carrier within 20 business days after payment. If fulfilment will take longer, we will provide an updated estimate and allow you to cancel for a full refund before dispatch.
Delivery estimates are not guarantees. Risk passes to you on delivery to the address supplied at checkout. Please check the address before paying. Contact us promptly if tracking shows a problem or the product arrives damaged.
5. Digital delivery
Digital products become available through a protected download after Stripe confirms payment. You are responsible for retaining the supplied archive and for checking that your environment is compatible. SCORM products require a learning-management system capable of importing and running the SCORM version identified in the catalogue, together with a current browser that supports JavaScript and the storage required by the LMS.
6. Change-of-mind returns
You may cancel a physical-product order for a full refund before fulfilment begins. After delivery, you may return an unused, complete physical product in its original condition within 30 days. You pay change-of-mind return postage, and the original delivery charge is not refundable unless we agree otherwise.
You may cancel a digital-product purchase within 14 days if you have not downloaded or opened the supplied file. After download, change-of-mind refunds are considered generously case by case, taking account of whether the product has been used, copied or deployed.
7. Faults, incorrect supply and statutory rights
If a product is faulty, materially different from its description, damaged in transit or not supplied, contact [email protected]. We will provide the repair, replacement, re-supply, refund or other remedy required by law and will cover reasonable return costs where the product is faulty or incorrectly supplied.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies a guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, including rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
8. Refund process
Send a refund request to [email protected] with the order code and reason. Approved refunds are submitted to Stripe within five business days. Your bank or payment provider controls how long the credit then takes to appear.
9. Educational and professional information
Courses, games, simulations and generated materials are educational and informational. They are not legal, accounting, tax, financial, employment, engineering, architectural, safety or other regulated professional advice. Users remain responsible for appropriate professional review and for decisions made using the materials.
10. Availability and acceptable use
We may withdraw a product before checkout, limit quantities, or refuse an order affected by fraud, sanctions, export restrictions, technical error or unlawful use. You must not resell, copy, redistribute or publicly host a digital product except as its licence expressly permits.
Links or references to third-party websites, platforms, products or services are provided for context or convenience and do not imply endorsement by IFOST.
11. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, IFOST is not responsible for indirect loss, loss caused by use outside the product's stated purpose, an incompatible customer system, or a third-party platform outside our control. For business purchases where a remedy may lawfully be limited, our liability is limited, at our option, to re-supplying the product or paying the reasonable cost of re-supply. This section does not limit non-excludable statutory rights.
12. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, without displacing mandatory rights that apply in the buyer's location. Please contact us first so that we can try to resolve a dispute promptly.
